Brooks Ghost is a very popular shoe all around the world.
As one of the best selling models by Brooks, there is no question about it that a lot of people are exited for the release of the Brooks Ghost 16!
Having tested out myself the 14, 15 and Ghost Max, i’m very looking forward in testing the 16 out to see what further improvements have been done.
There aren’t a lot of details known about the new release yet.
Also the exact date hasn’t been confirmed, but following past releases they are to be expected somewhere in November (or at the latest in the beginning of December together with the official EU launch of the Brooks Ghost Max?).
Some features to be expected for the all new Brooks Ghost 16.
Yes, you read that right, the shoe will have a modified upper and midsole!
Weight: It is expected that the weight will be less than compared to the 15, making it even more suitable for neutral runners with higher arches.
Midsole: The Midsole foam is expected to be even more enhanced, energized and plush. hopefully more in line at what they did with the Ghost Max?
It’s also expected to provide you an even better stride and overall running experience.
Here comes DNA Loft V3…
There was one article that mentioned it would be a bit more firm, well i hope that it’s a bit more softer to be honest!
Outsole: A new rubber compound will be used to give better grip and perhaps also durability.
Durability: As in the previous versions, the expectation for the durability is ones again high, this wasn’t an issue in previous versions, so it probably won’t be in the 16 either!
Upper: The upper will undergo some changes to give you a better lock down, including better breath ability and will be lighter.
Do take into account that this is all still speculation based on different information found online.
As soon as Brooks releases more information i will definitely post an update about it!
The retail price is expected to be around 140€/140£/140$
