Adidas is releasing a brand new model in their Supernova line!

Supernova Rise.

It’s a neutral daily trainer with a high amount of cushioning.

It will feature a new PEBA midsole called DreamStrike+.
This midsole foam is based upon the Lightstrike Pro foam but it’s a bit more dense.
Of which Adidas claims that it will give you elevated cushioning while delivering a fast forward energy return.

At the bottom there are support rods to provide more stability and durability.

The upper is engineered to give a more customized fit and it’s an airy mesh which should provide great breath ability.

That all sounds good on paper, but will this shoe perform what it claims?
Well I’m curious, that’s for sure!
Especially the DreamStrike+ midsole in combination with the energy rods.
I do question a bit the amount of grip that this outsole will give you, from the looks of it  i don’t think the grip will be that great, but we will have to wait and see!

Release is expected on the 1st of December!

As of writing, this shoe wasn’t even “officially” announced by Adidas yet, but pictures and information already leaked out during the New York Marathon and some websites that already mention the shoe for pre-order!

Expected retail price will be around 140€/140£/140$

Would you consider buying these, also knowing that the Adidas Adizero SLv2 is coming out around exactly the same period for probably around 120€/120£/120$ ?
